Deployments of the UPS are already underway at several hyperscale data centers across the US
ON.energy has launched a new medium-voltage uninterruptible power supply (UPS) system designed specifically for AI data centers.
The company claims that it is the first UPS to be purpose-built to handle the unique power demands of large-scale AI compute facilities.

According to ON.energy, traditional UPS systems struggle to manage the rapid load changes
and voltage fluctuations typical of AI workloads. The company claims that its new offering, AI UPS, can act as a dynamic interface between data centers and the grid, providing grid-safe resilience while accelerating interconnection timelines.
“AI UPS is the new standard for how to interconnect AI data centers to the grid - faster, safer, and more resilient,” said Alan Cooper, co-founder and CEO of ON.energy.
