On Energy Announces the Successful COD of Ikotia Solar Park in Colombia

September, 2024 – On Energy is proud to announce the successful installation andcommissioning of the BESS project at the Ikotia Solar Park, a major milestone in the company’s ongoing efforts to support the global energy transition. This project, developed in partnership with Enel X Frontera Energy, is now fully operational in Colombia.

The Ikotia Solar Park features a 7.85 MWp installed photovoltaic (PV) capacity and is equipped with a 1MW / 1MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) to provide industrial power quality support and energy storage capabilities.

The Ikotia Solar Park represents a significant step forward in On Energy’s commitment to driving renewable energy adoption and supporting the seamless transition to a low-carbon future.
